Notes:

Bertha Cox Chandler's work gives her birthdate as ca 1822, which agrees with the Census of 1900.

She is recorded as buried in the Cribb-Burrows Cemetery  listed as Betsy Cribb Cox (map 25).
It is said she has a sister also buried in this cemetery. Thomas Burrows (or Burroughs) married Sarah Cribb; perhaps Sarah is the sister.  Sarah Cribb was a child of Noah and Martha Cribb of Georgetown, SC.
The Cribb-Burrows cemetery is on Carraway Road off Pleasant Hill Road.  This cemetery is near Georgetown City, SC.

Note that an Elizabeth Cribb appears in the 1820 and the 1830a1830b censuses.  She was 45 or older in 1820 and 50-59 in 1830.  She was too old to have been the mother of Archibald Cox, Jr.'s wife, although she could have been her grandmother.  In 1830 two other females lived with Elizabeth Cribb: one was age 15-19 and the other was age 20-29.  Archibald Cox, Jr.'s wife's nickname was "Betsy".

1880 Census: age 60.
The census of 1880 shows her and husband Archibald Cox, Jr. living next to their daughter Mary and son-in-law Thomas Cribb.
