Biographical Sketch:


Diana has attended Nysmith School for the Gifted (Herndon, VA) from pre-school through June 2007.  In Fall 2007, she began 6th grade at The Flint Hill School (Oakton, VA).  She also attended the professional preparatory Classical Ballet Academy (Reston, VA) for several years during early grade school.  She qualified in both mathematics and verbal ability for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth program in 2004; she attended CTY at Stanford University during the summer of 2007.  Her poem, Obama vs Education, was published in the summer 2009 Harvard Educational Review.

She attended Nysmith School from grades 1-6, then entered Flint Hill School at grade 7.  She was accepted by The College of William and Mary (early decision program) in November 2013.  She graduated from Flint Hill School in June 2014.  She then attended the College of William and Mary, graduating in May 2018 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.  She entered American Univerity (Washington, DC) in August 2018 as a graduate student in the psychology department.

Diana's sonogram (December 27, 1995... about 7 months before she was born).
She studied piano and singing since about age 5.  She was asked to sing at the Church of the Covenant (Arlington, VA) on November 26, 2006.  She sang "The Friendly Beasts" at the same church on January 13, 2008.
On May 24, 2011 she performed "Price Tag" with Flint Hill's a capella group the Major Minors.  Here is a Major Minors practice session held at our house on April 13, 2014.  Diana sings the major portion of "Video Killed the Radio Star".

Her interests (2014) include singing, poetry, writing, ukelele, athletics (running).
